"Creativity is the freedom to break from the cocoon of convention and into the sky of life by way of design" - Ebby

Ebby whose full name is Eberechi Agu is Nigerian. He credits his african background to much of his creativity. He is a designer - artist and poet, whose love for the arts runs deep in his veins. He discovered his talent at age 10 drawing cartoon characters for his classmates in 5th grade. "I just draw what I see and my eyes are just special".  Ebby finds a way to relate art to anything he encounters, which he adds makes the world a beautiful place. The self taught artist currently resides in the Bronx, New York.

He attended the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he earned his degree in Studio Art and Design in 2005. While attending Binghamton he was constantly involved in and on the design scene. From publications and lay out editor to graphic design intern and events advertiser for numerous campus events.

In 2006 he found his way back to New York City at [R/GA]; the interactive advertising agency of the future. While working as a Production Artist he has been able to work on such accounts as Nike, Nokia, Verizon, Purina, Sharp, and L'Oreal accounts. R/GA he adds was instrumental in his "design eye" becoming sharper and more critical. The humbling experience only add to his drive and determination.

Adjacently, Ebby is a freelance graphic artist doing design and art work for many independent clients. He also works diligently at building his many ventures. [On Deck Visual Studios] has been in the workings as early as 2002 and continues to attract the attention of young and established businesses.

The current times finds the young artist at [Acorda Therapeutics]; A biotech company specializing in therapies with those afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. Ebby says "Working here is the single most rewarding growing experience a designer could have". With great Art and Creative Direction, Ebby is in his element. As 2009, roll around Ebby remains a growing force at Acorda. Working hand in hand with the Marketing team in their efforts and Launch a new product and be a creative force.

In addition, the young entrepreneur now embarks on a childhood dream. Ebby extends his artistic vision to his own magazine company. He calls the Project,  [5 Point Magazine]. The magazine seeks to focus on 5 elements of art, namely Fashion, Music, Art, Design, and Poetry; All elements in which Ebby has excelled in over the years. Ebby will be Editor-in-Chief and will also be a contributing photographer and give over all art direction. He hopes to have the magazine on shelves in the 1st quarter of 2008; Stay Tuned!

In his past time Ebby enjoys sports, recording music, sketching animation, writing poetry, dancing, photography and sending text messages.
